Clinical Supervision
Supervision is a vital part of our evolution as clinicians, something that supports us not just early on, but throughout our professional lives. Whether you're pre-licensure or fully licensed, supervision offers a space to deepen your clinical insight, strengthen your voice, and navigate your path with authenticity.
I approach supervision through discernment, developmental, and reflective-based models, always attempting to be attuned to where you are and where you're growing. I strive to balance support and challenge in a way that fosters growth and encourages deep self-reflection. My goal is not to impose my own clinical modalities but to help you clarify your interests, explore your theoretical orientation, and develop into the most ethical and grounded version of yourself.
I take the role of clinical stewardship seriously. I work closely with supervisees to integrate the ethics and our profession’s regulatory expectations into everyday practice. Supervision, at its best, is a space where professional identity, clinical skill, and personal insight come together, and where well-being is prioritized alongside competence.
As Janine Bernard, creator of the Discrimination Model of supervision, wisely noted: “Good supervision helps supervisees move toward greater awareness of themselves, others, and the counseling process.” I feel this quote reflects the heart of my work, supporting you in developing self-awareness, managing challenges, and growing into a clinician who serves others with clarity, compassion, and professionalism.
I also believe in the power of community. Networking and professional support should empower us, not isolate us. In our work together, I hope you will find a grounded, real connection where your clinical self can thrive, not just survive.
If you're looking for supervision that’s honest, reflective, empowering, and rooted in who you are, I’d love to connect.
